TOUR DESCRIPTION
This tour takes you to the beautiful province of Kanchanaburi where our first stop will be at the allied prisoners of war cemetery and the Thailand and Burma Railway Center, this museum is the best information source for those interested in the construction of this wartime railway and the history and lives of the prisoners and Asian laborers who constructed it. In the town of Kanchanaburi, you will also see the famous Bridge Over The River Kwai. We will continue our journey by train which will take you along part of the original “Death Railway” whilst enjoying the views of the river and the spectacular scenery while crossing some of the original bridges constructed by the POWs and Asian laborers. You will ride the train to the Krasae Cave Station where we will alight the train. Following our morning activities, we will take you for a leisurely lunch and then on to visit the Krasae Cave as well as walk the Wampo viaduct. This is a great day to get out of the city and sample the history and beautiful nature that Kanchanaburi province has to offer.
